Experience the Universe

This was an impromptu request for my family since my wife loves astrology & wanted to expose my girls to one of mom’s passions & Tanner was a phenomenal tour guide!! Not only very knowledgeable to explain in layman’s terms for my girls to understand, but also very kind & thoughtful!! The telescope is not your (at least not my) grandpa’s telescope & was amazing at seeing things we couldn’t even begin to see with the naked eye! If you’re asking yourself if you should do it – DO IT! Worth every penny! Thank you Tanner!!!

This was such an amazing event to be apart of! Tanner and his wife were great hosts that made the vibe comfortable and intriguing with their patience and knowledge. This is definitely an event and company I’d recommend and one I plan to return to!

We took our kids stargazing this past weekend because our youngest is obsessed with space right now and boy did we love it!! Tanner and his wife were amazing! Tanner shared some facts that blew my mind, it was a very cool experience just to look up at the sky and see all the stars and even some nebulae through the telescopes. We will definitely be doing this again!!!!

Tanner worked so patiently with our family of 17 people, ages 5 to 66. He loves astronomy, and answered all our questions in simple, easy to understand terms. He also pointed out many features of the night sky with his laser light – which we all loved. I think he sparked a few of our family to pursue their interest in astronomy! He communicated promptly and clearly via email as we adjusted location and dates. It was a mind expanding evening as we explored the galaxies thousands of light years away. I highly reccomend Tanner – you will not be disappointed!

We had an amazing experience with Tanner. He is incredibly kind, passionate, and great at explaining things in a way that was interesting whether you knew a bit about astronomy or were completely new to it. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that made the whole experience even better.

The entire experience Tanner gave us was awesome. We could feel his passion for astronomy the whole time. He was a great teacher, and provided interesting facts and concepts the entire time. He dealt with the younger kids very well too. Saw some amazing star clusters, dying stars, a comet, and Saturn’s ring. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

We were having bad luck with weather but eventually found the clear night. Tanner was extremely patient and communicative. He told us best spot to meet and he was a talented communicator and knew answers to crazy hard questions. He is the real deal. This is his passion and he is easy to be around and kind. We had kids and he was nice to them about being around his very nice telescope and had answers for all their questions. Nothing like looking at stars billions of miles away to remember how insignificant you and your problems are. This is a great way to zoom out, it is good for the soul. Definitely would recommend. Would love to do it again. This is a great thing to do with friends and family. Smaller groups will be able to see more things. Bigger groups you are each taking your turn looking at the stars but the discussion between is great.

Tanner was great! He was easy to reach, quick to respond on suggestions for different meeting locations, and was all set up and ready to go for us when we arrived. He smoothly led our group of six through about seven different sky observations over the course of our hour together. He had a laser pointer as well that really helped to better identify constellations and stars in the sky with the naked eye ahead of viewing things through the telescope.
